Just a quick reminder the Kraft Heinz Project Play nominations are closing at midnight tonight, August
18th. Many community members have submitted a nomination in support of the Amherst Lions Park,
which only takes a couple minutes and could impact the community dramatically! Prize money will help guarantee the plans of a new splash pad, basketball court, senior family park area and more. Your online nomination will also help in achieving Amherst’s goal in being the most active, healthy community in Nova Scotia – don’t hesitate and nominate by end of day today.
The third off leash dog park public meeting will take place on September 7th, from 7-9pm at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Centre. The three information sessions are being offered to gather input from citizens regarding an Off Leash Dog Park and everyone is encouraged to attend.
