Our Active Family Fun evening is happening tonight with an obstacle course and games set up in the field. Come to Dickey Park between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to have some family friendly fun. On July 31, we will have Circus night, while on Aug. 7 there will be a family picnic at 5:30 p.m. with Maggie’s Place. You don’t want to miss it! Don’t forget your bathing suit. Bubble Blitz will be set up by the splash pad during the family picnic night!

A free screening of Iron Man 3 will take place on July 25 in Victoria Square, weather permitting. The movie will begin at dusk. It is recommended you bring your own chair or blanket to sit on and get comfy to enjoy the film. There will be popcorn, so be sure to be there early as supplies are limited. The theme of the evening is Christmas in July, so join us before for a snow dance and other wintery fun!

Do not forget to take advantage of our many parks and facilities that are available for the public this summer. The splash pad at Dickey Park is an amazing resource to use in the summer and a great way to cool down in the heat.

The off-leash dog park is also located at Dickey Park, just remember to clean up after your pets and put litter in its place. The green team works exceptionally hard to keep our community clean, green and tidy, so it is important to respect their hard work when using our parks and facilities.
