Amherst Volunteer Nomination Application Form

Each year communities across Canada celebrate National Volunteer Week as a way to recognize the individuals who volunteer their time and skills to provide services and programs in our communities. This year National Volunteer Week is April 14-20, 2024.

The Town of Amherst is accepting nominations for individuals that deserve special volunteer recognition. Nominees will be honoured at a reception hosted in Amherst for their efforts. Individuals may also be nominated for the Provincial Volunteer Award on behalf of the Town of Amherst. One nominee from each category will be selected to represent the Town of Amherst at the Provincial Volunteer Awards.

Details on the Amherst Volunteer Appreciation Reception and Provincial Volunteer Appreciation Reception will be announced at a later date. You can submit a completed nomination on or before Friday, March 8, 2024, by:

  • Drop the application off to Amherst Town Hall, 98 Victoria Street
