March 23, 2018: Ringette and Tennis

Spring is officially here! We here at the “A” Team would like to extend our warmest wishes and thoughts to you for a Happy Spring ahead. Although there may still be some evidence leftover from the winter season, springtime is finally here and we hope that you will continue to join with us in helping to keep Amherst clean and tidy. Spring welcomes along with it an opportunity for a fresh start and new growth. We will be forming a Communities in Bloom committee this spring to help us improve upon our community as a whole. A public meeting will be held at the Community Credit Union Building Innovation Centre at 5 Ratchford St. on Wednesday, April 11 at 6pm. If you are interested in becoming an active member of the Communities in Bloom committee, we welcome you to attend.

Did you know that Earth Hour is this Saturday, March 24 from 8:30pm- 9:30pm? Earth Hour is the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment and we hope that you will participate and join in by making your contribution to helping limit the demand we place daily on our environment. You may not think that by turning off your lights for one hour you will make a dramatic impact on our environment but when you think of all those around the entire world making that same effort to turn off their lights, the impact is huge. For more information on how you can take part and sign up please visit: https://www.earthhour.org
