Parks have been winterized, but there is still lots of opportunity to play.
The Rotary Park washroom is closed for the season, but you can take advantage of the nice walking track and outdoor exercise equipment. Beacon Street washrooms have also been closed, but play equipment can still be used. Lions Park tennis courts are closed, but playground equipment and walking track are still in use.
Enjoy all Dickey Park has to offer, including washrooms, a lit walking track or the off-leash dog park. The dog park is a great place to socialize your furry friends. Please be kind and respectful, pick up after your pets.
Harding Park and Ernie Mills Park are all open for use. Outdoor trails are available to help you stay active in this beautiful fall weather. So many great opportunities to get out and be active.

The Amherst Stadium is in full swing. Stadium walking track is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Remember to stay hydrated and enjoy our water-filling station at the Stadium located near the men’s washroom.

Please note that all recreational skating is offered FREE of charge and you must wear a helmet. Need a helmet? Helmets are available for lending through the administration office at the Stadium. Helmets are available 15 minutes prior to the start of your ice time.

Come celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Amherst Stadium. It’s our annual New Year’s Eve Family First Celebrations starting at 6 p.m., with rooftop fireworks at 8 p.m.
Ring in the new year with skating, ice colouring, horse and wagon rides, live music, photo booth, and rooftop fireworks.
All activities are free of charge and are tobacco and alcohol free.
