The Town of Amherst honoured 14 employees with long-services awards during a ceremony at town hall on June 25.
“The Town of Amherst is fortunate to have such dedicated, hard-working staff,” Mayor David Kogon said in presenting the awards.
“Without their dedication, the town simply could not deliver the quality programs and services that we do.”
Honoured were:
Staff Sgt. Scott White received his long-service award for 40 years of service from CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
Police Chief Ian Naylor received his long-service award for 30 years of service from CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
Town Engineer Ben Pitman received his long service award for 30 years of service from CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
Town of Amherst CAO received a long-service award for 20 years of service from Mayor David Kogon.
Deputy-Chief Dwayne Pike was presented his long-service award for 20 years of service by CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
Administrative Assistant Kathy Lake was presented her long-service award for 20 years of service by CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
Town Clerk Kim Jones received a long-service award for 20 years of service from CAO Greg Herrett and Mayor David Kogon.
