The Vancouver Chamber Choir is one of Canada's oldest professional choral treasures and they are stopping in Amherst as part of their cross-Canada tour. Major Festivals

Amherst Winter Carnival: February. Celebrate heart, culture, and play with more than 100 activities over seven days. Highlights include a chili challenge, live entertainment, art classes, skating parties, an outdoor play day, and Heritage Day activities.

Bordertown Biker Bash: July. Annual motorcycle rally with tours of scenic Nova Scotia, a burnout competition, stunt shows, live music, and a live concert.

Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival: October. Atlantic Canada's largest fiber arts festivals with exciting creative workshops, stunning exhibits, and hands-on demonstrations.
