What is Voyent Alert?
Voyent Alert is a notification service for residents, businesses, and visitors. The Town uses it to share important day-to-day information, such as planned maintenance, water advisories, and upcoming events, so you hear about what affects you as soon as it happens.
Types of Alerts
When you subscribe, you can select from the following message categories:
- Amherst Updates
- Employment Opportunities
- Festivals and Events
- Procurements
- Service Interruptions
- Severe Weather Updates
- Upcoming Meetings
How to Subscribe
There are two ways to sign up:
Option 1: Mobile App Alerts
- Download the free Voyent Alert app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and follow the prompts to add the Town of Amherst.
- Select the alert categories you'd like to receive.
Option 2: Email, Text Message, or Voice Call Alerts
- Visit the Voyent Alert registration portal.
- Type "Amherst" in the search bar and select the Town of Amherst.
- Enter how you'd like to be contacted (email, mobile number for texts, or phone number for voice calls).
- Select the alert categories you'd like to receive.
