It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Amherst Fire Department. We are very proud of our department and the members that provide the service to you. The Amherst Fire Department is a composite fire department consisting of highly dedicated career and volunteer firefighters. This department aspires to serve our citizens, prevent fires, protect property, and efficiently mitigate incidents when they do occur.
