On Monday, October 13, 2025, the following Town of Amherst facilities will be closed for Thanksgiving:
- Town Hall
- Amherst Stadium (Exception: 2 pm game)
- Community Credit Union Business Innovation Centre
- Public Works Garage
Amherst Fire and Police services will operate as normal over the holiday Monday.

Facilities will resume regular operating hours on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
